After many engagements between Inclusive Tech World (ITW) and Butterfly Sanctuary Organisation, including opportunities to hear communities’ stories, understand their challenges, and explore innovative ideas around inclusion and human rights, the two organisations have taken a decisive step forward by formalising their partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
On Friday, 14 August 2026, representatives of Inclusive Tech World and Butterfly Sanctuary Organisation came together for the official signing ceremony, held under the theme “Promoting Inclusion and Synergy for Transformative Development.” The occasion marked an important milestone in strengthening collaboration between the two organisations and establishing a shared foundation for future initiatives.
The MoU brings together the complementary strengths, expertise, and resources of both organisations with the aim of contributing to more inclusive and equitable development. The partnership will provide a framework for collaboration in areas including disability inclusion and equal participation, opportunities for women and youth, access to knowledge, skills and technology, community development, advocacy, and joint initiatives.
For Inclusive Tech World, the partnership represents more than the signing of a formal agreement. It reflects a shared commitment to moving from conversations about inclusion towards practical action and measurable impact.
The partnership recognises that creating inclusive communities requires collaboration across organisations and sectors. By combining expertise and resources, Inclusive Tech World and Butterfly Sanctuary Organisation aim to develop approaches that can contribute to sustainable community development while ensuring that underserved and vulnerable communities have greater opportunities to participate and benefit.
The partnership also creates opportunities for both organisations to strengthen advocacy, learning, and joint initiatives that contribute to inclusive development.
The signing of the MoU marks the beginning of a new chapter in the relationship between Inclusive Tech World and Butterfly Sanctuary Organisation. As the partnership develops, both organisations look forward to translating their shared vision into initiatives that promote inclusion, opportunity, empowerment, and participation.
Inclusive Tech World remains committed to working with partners and communities to build a Lesotho where people are not only included in society, but are empowered with the opportunities, knowledge, skills, and technologies needed to participate meaningfully.
Together with Butterfly Sanctuary Organisation, we look forward to turning this commitment into action.
